Nathan Riebli is a composer, educator, music director, and orchestrator from the San Francisco Bay Area. Nathan has had music on over seventy television series to date, he specializes in dramatic tension and nature shows. Nathan was the recipient of the ASCAP 2018 Max Dreyfus Award for New Music Theatre Composer. He received an “Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction” award from the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle in 2014. He is co-writer with lyricist Maggie Sharp Tallan of the new musical “Johanna”, an action packed show about a young woman, known as Hannie Schaft, who became an assassin for the resistance against the nazis in the Netherlands during World War II.
Nathan has a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of the Pacific – Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Missouri – Kansas City Conservatory of Music, and an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of The Arts.
